What exactly is abstract art? It is what it is, it is a manifestation of the mind.

Some of this manifestations of abstraction are somewhat inspired by visuals from the “un-noticed” urban world. Sometimes I go around and photograph things that no one notices, yet I see a composition in these things. These “things” contain Art, art is after all an essence that is out there. The artist simply downloads this information. Here are some examples:

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(notice the different textures, tones of color, and the element of space in terms of composition. People walk by this wall everyday yet they don’t see the Art in it)

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(notice how lines and texture can make a great composition. This is a picture I took of the pavement, people walk over it everyday, people drive over it everyday yet they don’t see the Art in it)

Art is everywhere.

Tribute_Schuck_Schuldinerr

(acrylic on canvas done in Atlanta/Ga, 2002)

Sometime around June of 2002 I visited an old friend in Orlando/Fla named Mike (Iron Maiden-Mike). Back in Atlanta/Ga I had done an acrylic on canvas to honor the memory of the godly Death-Metal pioneer Chuck Schuldiner. So, around June of 2002 Mike introduced me to the Chuck’s mom.

I remember that Mike and I went to her house and that I personally gave her the painting. I told her that the album “Spiritual Healing” had been a great artistic influence on me since I was in Cuba. She was very pleased. I explained to her that Cuba is a communist country and that there are no record stores in the Island, everything is done through underground trading. Also, not everyone is lucky to have a stereo or a DVD player. Overall, I must say that visiting Chuck’s mom was a great experience. I am very grateful that I was able to do something in order to honor the majestic legacy of Chuck.

Something strange happened during that visit: Mike and I have been Mercyful Fate/King Diamond fans for years. To say the least, I have the Mercyful Fate and the King Diamond logo tattooed on my left shoulder. I am proud to say that I am a “Kim Bendix Petersen fanatic”. The day Mike and I visited Chuck’s mom; the red King Diamond live album was lying on the living room table. Synchronicity? Weird!!!

I remember that I looked at that and said to myself: “Wow! This really looks like a sign from the other side! I’m definitely at the right place at the right time!” I know this is going to sound crazy but I felt as if “Chuck” was giving us a sign, as if he was saying that he was happy to see us visiting his mom. It was a great experience to meet Chuck’s mom in Orlando/Fla. Long live the mighty Chuck Schuldiner!!!

THE WORST FEMALE SERIAL KILLER IN HISTORY

bathory-painting

(Erzebet Bathory)

Before you read this:

1. Mr Nizin Lopez does not support or admire in any way the hideous crimes of Erzsebet Bathory.
2. Mr Nizin Lopez however “ADMIRES” and even “VENERATES” the un-properly channeled warrior in her. Nizin admits to this openly no matter what anyone says (100% politically incorrect and damned proud of it).
3. Mr nizin Lopez is not a professional historian, he is simply an artist who frequents the Miami Dade Public Library system.
4. The information you find here is based on “the echo” that has reached our days. My research on Erzsebet is based on whatever I have been able to find.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO DIED

(ink on paper by Mr Nizin Lopez [detail]: the victims of Erzebet Bathory)

Mr Nizin Lopez would like to dedicate this research to all those poor girls murdered by the Rakshasa known as Erzsebet. I sincerely hope that now that they have crossed over they have found “TRUE JUSTICE” since there is no 100% true justice in the physical plane.

All the representatives of “Law and Order” on this earth are corrupt one way or another (some more than others of course). Governments for the most part care about one thing: revenue, profit, gain. I know that no one is perfect and that we should not expect our governmental leaders to be perfect either.

Erzsebet didn’t see those poor souls as human beings; she saw them as “property”: depreciating assets. From the bottom of my heart I frankly hope those girls have found “THE ULTIMATE PEACE” that transcends all human understanding.

Note: Mr Nizin Lopez began this research approximately around October 21st ,2014.

“For it is God who is both the initiator OF ALL HUMAN ACTIONS and the recipient of the fruits of those same deeds. It is he who has the power to cancel out the effects of all human actions and thereby to liberate the eternal and undying soul of man from bondage to rebirth and redeath.”

(Death [the final stage of growth], by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. pg 61. published by Simon & Schuster, Inc. New York)

PART I: ERZSEBET’S ORIGIN.

(Erzebet Bathory, ink on paper by Mr Nizin Lopez. Done in Miami Gardens/Fla on April 2017)

Erzsebet was born in 1560 in the mysterious soil of Transylvania. She was raised in the family estate of Ecsed in a village called “Nyirbathor”. Most people would think that she was born at night but to the contrary, she was born in the morning. It is said that when she came into this world there was a storm, perhaps nature was somehow announcing the arrival of the most diabolical woman of all time. Researchers say that she was born under the influence of the Moon and Mars (god of war and bloodshed). When she was a child her family used to call her “Alzbeta”. Little did they know that they were actually raising a Lilith of blood and semen.

wallachia0001

(Nyirbathor is said to be located between Debrecen, Satu Mare, and Oradea)

ERZSEBET’S FAMILY

The Countess emanates from a wealthy Christian family. Her father was a minister named Gyorgy, he passed away when Alzbeta was just 10 years old (when she was 11 she was bethrothed to a Hungarian noble). Gyorgy had a brother named Andras Bonaventura Bathory who was prince of Transylvania at some point.

Alzbeta’s mother was named Anna, she was the daughter of Itsvan Bathory and Katilin Telegdy. Anna was Gyorgy’s cousin, this means that there was interbreeding in the Dragon bloodline of Alzbeta (Gyorgy was Anna’s 3rd husband). Both George and Anna were Wallachians.

Erzsebet had two sisters and one brother: Klara, Zsofia, and Itsvan. It is said that Itsvan was insane but then again, maybe this is just a rumor. Perhaps this had something to do with the interbreeding of the Bathory family? It is said that many of them suffered from epilepsy, headaches, and pain in the eyes.

THE NAME “BATHORY”.

“In my veins, the blood of the ancient brood”….

(Morbid Angel, song “Sworn to the black”. From the 1993 album Covenant)

“Bathory” is obviously not just any family name, this is obvious. This name derives from the Hungarian word “Bator” which literally means “VALIANT” (Bator also sounds like Ba-Thor [Thor is the God of thunder]). This is the blood that flowed through the veins of the Transylvanian Lilith, she had warrior blood in her; she was genetically programmed to “thirst for red”.

She was not by any means a submissive woman, even men feared her. It is even said that at some point she dressed in men’s clothes and that she played men sports. It almost seems as if she was the reincarnation of a warrior like Vlad or something. She was like Tomyris, the queen of the Massagetai who defeated Cyrus (Massagetai sounds similar to “Sarmisegethusa”).

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez. Here you can see the ‘WARRIOR’ flowing in the veins of Erzsebet)

There is a folk story that says that when she was young she got bit by a wolf. She had hunted the predator. When she got close to it, thinking it was dead; it bit her hand. She slit the wolf’s throat. There is no question about it, Erzsebet was a “Bator-Wolf”.

(ink on paper by Mr Nizin Lopez [detail])

The “Bathory emblem” is a Dragon with eagle wings that bites its own tail. It also depicts the teeth of a wolf, three to be exact. The fact that it bites its own tails probably symbolizes the interbreeding of the family (keep in mind that the Wallachian Vlad Tepes belonged to “the Order of the Dragon”).

The eagle wings obviously refers to “Nobility” (above the rest = wealth & social status). The wolf’s teeth,…well, we all know that Erzsebet was a vampire, the most diabolical woman in the history of the human race (even though Agrippina, Nero’s mother and lover, was way more depraved than her).

The Bathory family certainly escalated to the top many times. For example, Anna, Erzsebet’s mother,…she had a brother named Itsvan Bathory who became king of Poland (the country desired by both Hitler & Stalin). This ex-prince of Transylvania married a Polish princess named Anna Jagiellonka. The family name “Bathory” certainly is equivalent to the word “POWER”.

ERZSEBET’S GENETIC ISSUES

As I mentioned before, Erzsebet’s father had married his own cousin (in order to keep the wealth in the family). Sometimes interbreeding can have negative outcomes from a medical perspective, sometimes even devastating consequences. As I previously mentioned, Erzsebet’s brother suffered from dementia plus many in her family had epilepsy, headaches, and eye pain (Caligula was epileptic & schizophrenic). These irregularities are obviously the product of interbreeding (our bodies are “to a certain extent” programmed by the genes).

Then on top of this Erzsebet came from a bloodline of murderous conquerors, warriors, professional blood-spiller. Her genes were magnetized with the spark of all those ancestors of hers (Dacians, Getae, Romans, Huns, Germans, Turks, Magyars…). This must have influenced to some extent her blood thirst and her sadism. Since she couldn’t just go out there with a sword and a shield to fight Turks, she had to manifest that bestial war-lust in some way,…

As if this was not enough, she was exposed to ointments and potions that in our modern days would be equivalent to drugs like “acid” (LSD) and “Ecstasy” (MDMA). Imagine the kind of effect this had on a Lilith that was also traumatized by horrible childhood events! Erzsebet was a malevolent woman, a demoness; there is no question about it. Yet, there were specific things that affected her behavior.

ERZSEBET’S WEALTH

Erzsebet was a very, very wealthy woman. She was 110% aristocratic, a true noble from birth. She is said to have owned more or less sixteen castles and in different places (plus other possessions as well). Her favorite one seems to have been the Csejthe castle in upper Hungary (the Cachtice castle in modern Slovakia). Just so that the reader has an idea of Elisabetha’s wealth: the Holy Roman Emperor, Archduke Matthias II, he owed her 17,408 gulden. Erzsebet sold the “Beckov castle” for 2,000 gulden so imagine how incredibly rich and influential she was. She was powerful and she knew it, she knew it very well! The Bathory family in general was very, very powerful. They had properties in Transylvania, Wallachia, and Hungary.

PART II: ALZBETA’S TRAUMAS

A CORPSE WITHOUT SOUL

On August, 2014 an American journalist named James Foley was beheaded in the Middle East by Muslim extremists. Now, imagine for example that somehow both his body and his head would have been sent to America in a coffin. Imagine that someone would re-attach the head to the body using a needle and thin wire. I know this is tough but continue imagining,….imagine then that the mangled cadaver of the honorable martyr would be displayed in public somewhere in a significant Washington D.C church. Imagine that President Obama attending the religious service as Foley’s family members and friends mourn the loss of the journalist. So far, the beyond surreal-scenario that I have illustrated here is 100% unthinkable. Something like that would never happen in civilized America (please understand that I’m not in any way trying to insult the memory of Mr Foley).

us journalist being beheaded0001

(Miami Herald, Wednesday, August 20th, 2014. Article by Jonathan S. Landay: “Jihadist beheads U.S. man in grisly video”)

The times of Erzsebet were different, totally different. During her early years a Transylvanian relative of hers was killed and decapitated. His name is said to have been “Andras”. This “Andras” is said to have been her cousin. He had been a Cardinal of the Roman church, prince of Transylvania, and grand master of the Order of the Dragon (a Christian/anti-Turkish semimilitary organization).

Somehow the family (a wealthy & influential family of course) managed to recover the corpse and the head of Alzbeta’s cousin. The head of the noble was sewn to the body and the lifeless corpse was displayed in a church, I’m sure many personalities of the time attended that grotesque event. It is said that this took place in the “Gyulafeherhar Church” (in Alba Iulia/Transylvania) I’m sure the whole thing was a Dantesque circus plus there must have been a horrible stench in the building (it is said that Itsvan Bathory founded the Orthodox Episcopacy of Gyulafehervar).
Based on the material that I have gathered everything seems to indicate that Alzbeta was not there. She did not see that with her own eyes and the odour of her cousin’s stinking corpse did not reach her nostrils. Still, she heard about the whole thing. This was after all her blood, one of the cousins she used to play with in Transylvania.

Maybe, just maybe,…this could be one of the reasons why Erzsebet was so emotionless and so cruel. It is a fact that she saw her helpless victims as puppets, animated pieces of flesh with no human value,…plastic figures. Countess Bathory was certainly interested in human anatomy. She knew what artery to strike in order to obtain the desired amount of blood. So, it is only logical to suspect that the “Andras” event affected her psyche profoundly.

Some people say that history repeats itself. After Nero’s death, when Rome was torn asunder by different political parties, something happened…something that could certainly remind us of the “Andras incident”. In Book I.44 of “The Histories”, Cornelius Tacitus tells us about two Roman politicians who were beheaded by Otho (Otho had already slayed Galba). These folks were Piso and T. Vinius, their heads were fixed on poles and actually carried among the standards of the cohorts. Book I.47 states clearly that the relatives of Piso and T. Vinius “purchased” the heads from the murderers in order to honor them. Isn’t this the same thing that happened in Erzsebet’s family?

Note:

Erzsebet was a very intelligent and cultivated woman, she was a devout scholar of ancient history and she certainly was into the Occult (she was multi-lingual). I’m sure she read Book I of Tacitus’ Histories.

FEAR OF THE DARK

As an adult Erzsebet feared two things:

• Being confined in a small space.
• Being alone in the dark.

Obviously, there must be a reason why a Dragon like Erzsebet would feel this way. I could be wrong but I think this is because of a childhood trauma she had. In her early years someone in her family punished a gypsy man severely. Some say that the punisher was Erzsebet’s father, some say it was a cousin of hers.

The fact is that a tied up horse was split open (alive) and then some guards forced a tied up gypsy into the body of the beast. The horse’s body was sewn with needles, only the man’s head remained outside. Some people say that the head was sticking out of the horse’s genital area.

It is said that the gypsy man received this sentence because he had failed to protect his wife and his daughter when the Turks ravaged his village. He supposedly hid like a coward and allowed the Turks to take both his wife and daughter. Some say that what really happened was that the man sold his daughter to the Turks. This is most likely what really took place.

So, he was placed inside a dead animal so that his body would rot with it. Try to imagine the agony of this man inside a sticky-bloody beast,…the sensation of all those mutilated organs rubbing against his body….it is said that it took a while for the starved man to die (probably days). Imagine the stench….the flies,…the cold…personally, I think he deserved the severe punishment. In fact, he got lucky that he didn’t fall into the hands of someone like Vlad Tepes!

Erzsebet was there when this incident took place. She saw and heard the horse being split open. She felt the agony of the animal. Then she saw that traitor being forced into the slimy and bloody belly of the beast. She saw him tied up, screaming in agony but in vain….she saw the man’s head sticking out of the putrefying beast,…she probably went back to the spot the next day and the day after to see face of the agonizing man. She also heard the man begging, she heard his screams,….she was exposed to the whole episode.

If we think about it, the gypsy man was incarcerated in the body of the horse. This could be why Erzsebet didn’t like to be confined in a small place. Also, keep in mind that inside the body of the horse it is dark, pitch black. Could this be why Erzsebet always liked to have lit candles around her? I believe the she-wolf was greatly affected by this somber event.

Also, keep in mind that the belly of the beast was sewn with a needle. That is one of the things she used when she was tormenting her victims: needles of different sizes and thickness. She used them to inflict pain, as much pain as possible.

Some say that this grotesque event took place in a village of Zvatara called Cluj. It is said that Erzsebet was 9 years old when this happened.

COMMAND OF THE BLADE

the edges of reality

(ink on paper by Mr Nizin Lopez)

Some people believe than when Erzsebet was 13 one of her cousins, a ruler of Transylvania, ordered the mutilation of 54 rebellious peasants. He cut off their noses and their ears (this was a terror tactic used by Vlad the impaler).

Based on the research I have personally done everything seems to indicate that when Erzsebet was 13 she was already under the custody of the Nadasdys (in Sarvar). Maybe this happened during a short visit to her native soil? Perhaps this took place before she left to Sarvar? It is unclear when this happened if it indeed happened.

I personally believe that it could be possible that young Erzsebet was exposed to this. This is exactly what she did to her victims as an adult (and much more!).

THE CONSTANT THREAT

One thing that we must keep in mind is that Erzsebet was born to a very hostile environment. The Turks that once fought Vlad the impaler were a constant threat. She knew very well, even though she was a child,…she knew what the Turks would do to her and to her family if they were ever conquered. Not long before her birth South central Hungary fell to Suleyman the magnificent (1526). She knew that any female that would be captured by the Turks would end up as a prostitute. This must have made some type of psychological impact on the Erzsebet who lived in a patriarchal society.

KLARA

But the Maenads were not merely “Dionysus groupies.” Rather, they were women frenzied with wine. As such, they performed wild celebrations and rituals while under its spell. Dancing and singing in a crazed manner was something else they did. Often their celebrations ended in sexual activity. Another frequent result was violence. They would tear living creatures apart-man or animal. Sometimes they would feast on the raw flesh.

(Dionysus, by Russell Roberts. Mitchell Lane Publishers. Pg 22)

Phiilip Dionysus0001

(Here we see Olympias, the Macedonian queen who gave birth to militant Alexander. Olympias was a devotee of Dionysus, god of ecstasy and possession. This ivory from Vergina depicts her as if she is in a very deep trance. The princess of Epirus that ended up marrying Phillip II might remind us of Klara and Erzebet. This ivory can be found in the Thessalonika museum/Greece)

Erzsebet had a favorite aunt, her name was Klara. Klara was venerated by Erzsebet, apparently she found a confidant in her. Erzsebet could open herself completely to her; this is something that she couldn’t probably do with her own mother. Why was this? Klara was not just a black magician who introduced Erzsebet to Occult literature and conjurations; she was a sexually depraved sadist that initiated Erzsebet into “bloody mysteries”.

Klara crossed all the limits sexually speaking; she specialized in orgies that would always end up “reddish”. Erzsebet got engaged when she was just 11 years old and she married at the age of 15. This means that the Erzsebet of “Bator-blood” and “epileptic genes” was exposed to sexual depravity and sadism at a very early age (at least it seems that way).

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(Lilith, goddess of blood and semen)

Try to imagine for example how traumatic it must be for a minor to be exposed to that type of “Ilse Koch-sadism”,…words are not enough. Keep in mind that since Klara was her aunt she automatically was a “role model”. This is pretty much the equivalent of having Agrippina as a mentor.

We could also assume that since Klara was a black magician she introduced young Erzsebet to “magical potions” (drugs). Wouldn’t this be the equivalent to heroin, acid, ecstasy, and marihuana? Since as an adult Erzsebet was not necessarily a fornicator this could mean that what she really inherited from Klara was “drugs and sadism”. Erzsebet was more interested in inflicting pain than on sex. Erzsebet’s exposure to Klara certainly affected her sexual behavior.

Klara did not have a nice end. She got caught committing adultery and was severely punished:

• Her lover was cooked alive.
• She was gang-raped by non-Burgeois brutes (a bunch of guards).
• She was impaled alive Vlad style (a spear is a phallic symbol).

This must have been a severe psychological blow for Erzsebet. Her favorite aunt ravished and by a gang of non-aristocrats? Erzsebet probably saw this as a desecration of her sacred blood; this could be one of the reasons why she saw peasants as “human-cattle”.

Then on top of that her auntie was impaled. Maybe Erzsebet subconsciously associated “impalement” with the phalluses of the rapists. This could be one of the reasons why she was sexually attracted to females. Erzsebet liked men but females were her favorite. Perhaps Klara’s bitter end made her despise men? We can certainly say that Erzsebet was very influenced by Klara’s excesses plus Erzsebet was totally traumatized by Klara’s bitter end. She would never forget (some writers believe that Klara never met such unfortunate end and that she fled to Transylvania when Erzsebet was brought to justice in 1610).

THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR

At the tender age of 15 Erzsebet married a not so wealthy Hungarian noble named Ferenc Nadasdy. Ferenc was greatly feared by the Turks and he was referred to as “Bey” or “the Black Hero” (the Black Bey); it is said that he had an olive skin complexion.

His parents were George Nadasdy and Orsolya Kanisky (or Kanizsay?), a pious woman. Erzsebet’s father in law was the Palatine of Hungary from 1559 until 1562. Some say his first name was “Tamas” and not Gyorgy or Georges. By the time Erzsebet arrived in Sarvar, Orsolya was a widow.

On May 8th, 1575 Erzsebet officially became Mrs Nadasdy. The ceremony took place in the Varanno castle and it was conducted by Itsvan Benedictus de Krakko.

So, Transylvanian Erzsebet had been engaged to a folk she didn’t select since she was 11 and then at the age of 15 she was expected to be a wife and a mother, the producer of a royal bloodline (an incubator).

As far as I understand (please correct me if I’m wrong), an 11 year old girl like Erzsebet was supposed to be playing in the snow. The last thing that should have been on her mind at that age was matrimony. In fact, an 11 year old girl is not even supposed to be thinking of dating! Then again, her wealthy-aristocratic family was ensuring the future of the Bathory bloodline, such “arrangement” was normal in their eyes (a political alliance).

Then at the age of 15 Erzsebet all of the sudden realized that she was no longer in Wallachia playing with her friends,…now she was expected to produce a heir for Mr Ferenc. Once again (correct me if I’m wrong), a traumatized 15 year old girl like Erzsebet was not ready to be a wife. How could anyone expect a 15 year old female like Erzsebet to be a mother? Personally, I don’t think a 15 year old girl should be thinking about marriage, much less of motherhood. But there was Erzsebet! Now she was Countess Nadasdy of Hungary, the wife of a brave warrior that was usually far away fighting the Turks. Basically, what we have here is a person who had her childhood stolen from her.

During the first 10 years of her marriage Erzsebet didn’t have any kids. Why was this? Was it because the Black Hero was too busy in military affairs? No. Subconsciously, Erzsebet resented the fact that her childhood had been taken from her and sacrificed on the “holy altar” of aristocracy. This is probably why she didn’t want to have children. Eventually, after 10 years, she had no choice but to get pregnant.

• In 1585 she had a daughter and named her Anna, just like her mother. This demonstrates that Erzsebet’s character was stronger than Ferenc’s since her firstborn was named after “HER” mother and not after the mother of Ferenc. As the years passed Anna ended up marrying a folk named Miklos Zrinyi. Miklos was the grandson of a Hungarian/Croatian war hero of the same name.
• In 1598 she gave birth to two more daughters: Ursula (named after Ferenc’s mother) and Katalin who was known as “Kata”. Some say her real name was “Katherine”. Katalin ended up getting married to a French noble named Gyorgy Hommonai Drughet (it is said that Katalin didn’t get along with her mother too well).
• In that same year (1598) Ferenc was blessed with a son, they named him Paul. Some say that prior to the birth of Paul Erzsebet gave birth to a daughter and a son that died of some disease (this surely must have wounded her).

Some researchers say that Erzsebet was a protective mother. Yet, as soon as her children grew up a little they were kept away from her. Keep in mind that most of the time her husband was somewhere in a distant place fighting some war,….she liked independence, she was a wild animal that wanted to roar freely.

Ferenc died on January 4th ,1604. Some people say that Erzsebet poisoned him. This probably is untrue. She lived in a patriarchal society and she needed a man, a powerful man to stand by her (no matter how confident she was). Then again, maybe she wanted absolute dominion in order to unleash the Lilith inside of her? We don’t know for sure. She started being referred to as “Countess Bathory” after the death of her husband. She was 100% free to torture and murder whomever she pleased in the cruelest fashion.

Note:

Erzsebet had her childhood stolen from her but believe it or not some had it worse. For example, Mithradates Eupator of Pontus married his 13 year old daughter Cleopatra to a 40 year old man; he gave her to Tigranes, king of Armenia (Tigranes would have probably gotten along with the coward known as Commodus). This was not only a crime but a beyond-hideous deed. Cleopatra fell into the jaws of a politician in the holy name of aristocracy. Erzsebet was certainly luckier than this poor little girl.

THE GREAT WOUND

At the age of 11, sometime after the death of her father, Erzsebet was brought to Sarvar. As we already know the Bathorys and the Nadasdys had sealed a pact concerning her.
Some researchers think (or suspect) that she was invisible to Ferenc until they actually wed. If this information is accurate this literally would mean that from the age of 11 until the age of 15 Erzsebet was a “lonely” stranger in a strange land. Not only that, she was under a lot of pressure (and she was not “Countess” yet).

Some say that during this era Erzsebet was impregnated by a peasant boy named Laszlo Bende. It is said that Erzsebet had to come up with some excuse and go to the Leka castle so that no one would know about the pregnancy. There she was accompanied by her mother (her brother Itsvan knew but he supported her), by her loyal Darvulia, and by a midwife named Birgitta.
She supposedly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she named Erzsebet. Erzsebet’s mother declared that the innocent child was to vanish from Hungary forever, never ever to be seen by a Bathory or by a Nadasdy. Erzsebet had no choice but to send her firstborn to a dangerous-uncertain future. She probably didn’t want to do this but she was forced in the “holy” name of aristocracy.

It is said that the actual father of this poor baby girl was not Bende but Ferenc’s cousin: Andras Kanisky. If this is true, that means that Andras was not only a traitor to his cousin but a villain who had no intention of marrying the poor 14 year old foreigner. If this information is accurate this would mean that the Erzsebet who was invisible to Ferenc risked everything in the name of love. What did she get in return? Answer: a spit in the face.

There was no boyfriend there when the baby girl was being born in total secrecy, there was no husband that would hold her hand in order to show emotional and psychological support. There she was, hiding in Leka like a criminal,…not only that, she had to get rid of her firstborn in the name of aristocracy. If this indeed took place as I suspect it did, this surely traumatized the 14 year old Erzsebet.

She was abused, she was used, and she was betrayed. She had to get rid of her baby girl…maybe this must have made her despise men, maybe this is one of the reasons why she was attracted to young females? Was Erzsebet torturing young females in order to recover her baby girl somehow? I know this sounds crazy, but maybe I am right.

THE DEATH OF ERZSEBET’S MOTHER

Erzsebet’s mother died more or less around the time she was getting married to Ferenc. At least this is what some researchers think. This means that her mother, one of the instigators of the political alliance between the Bathorys and the Nadasdys, would not be able to attend the long expected wedding (keep in mind that Erzsebet’s father had died a long time ago). Not only that, Erzsebet was probably wounded because she could not go to her mother’s funeral in Transylvania. Even if her mother had told her that she had to get rid of the baby girl back in Leka, she was still her mother, her blood. This unfortunate event must have affected Erzsebet to some extent.

CONCLUSION

Erzsebet was a very traumatized woman in the same way that Vlad Tepes of Wallachia was a severely disturbed individual. Keep in mind that I’m not in any way trying to justify her atrocities but these are the facts:

• Erzsebet had warrior blood in her veins. She had a wolf inside of her.
• Erzsebet was born into a hostile world where there was a constant threat of Turkish invasion.
• Erzsebet was the product of interbreeding. It is a known fact that she suffered from epilepsy amongst other medical problems.
• Erzsebet was a noble from birth. She had been taught that she was superior to others. After all she went through when she finally became “Countess”, she probably saw peasants in the same way that Hitler saw the gypsies.
• She sacrificed her firstborn in the name of aristocracy; she had no reason to have mercy on peasants. She had paid in blood.
• Everything seems to indicate that around the time she was 14 she was taken advantage of by Ferenc’s cousin.
• Erzsebet had been exposed to violence and sadism since she was a child.
• Some of her relatives underwent very painful deaths.
• Erzsebet was bethrothed at the age of 11 and got married at the age of 15, her childhood was stolen from her in the name of politics.
• Erzsebet’s father passed away when she was only 10.
• Erzsebet was not able to attend her mother’s funeral.
• Erzsebet had been exposed to potions (drugs) that affected her behavior in the long run.

PART III: ERZSEBET’S CRIMES AND HER TEAM

Erzsebet was a transcendental individual, there must be a logical reason why people still remember her today. Yet, the fact of the matter is that she was the most intense female serial killer in history; she was absolutely merciless….it was as if something in her was not human.

“Lion’s prey are the wild asses of the desert; so too the poor are feeding grounds for the rich.”

(Sirach 13:18)

The blood Countess killed “at least” 650 young females that tried to serve her. Erzsebet didn’t just murder them and their dreams, she destroyed their families forever. It is even possible that she killed more than 650. Most of the girls ranged from 18 to 11 (believe it or not). Erzsebet was an animal, there are no words that can properly describe her malignancy.

• She didn’t just humiliate the girls by forcing them to strip naked, she dehumanized them.
• She sexually assaulted them in different ways. She forced unnatural behavior upon them.
• She tortured them using many different methods, she blasted them completely sometimes even skinning them alive.
• Erzsebet bathed in the blood of many of these unfortunate girls.
• She murdered them and felt absolutely no compassion, nothing.
• She treated the corpses as if they were bags of potatoes.

As I already mentioned, her crimes are beyond words.

Yet, Erzsebet couldn’t run this sick circus alone, she certainly had assistance. She had a loyal team! Here is a list of the individuals that assisted her one way or another. Keep in mind that there were many, many people assisting Erzsebet.

THE TEAM FROM HELL

ILOONA JOO

Iloona Joo was young when she began serving the Countess, no one really knows exactly what age she was when they first met. It is said that the person who introduced her to Erzsebet was a washer named Kata (Katalyn Benieczy). Some researchers think that Iloona was a somewhat muscular woman from Sarvar. Eventually Iloona became one of the main assistants of the Erzsebet, she certainly became part of the inner circle.

Iloona was certainly not innocent. She did the Countess bidding and she did it well, very well:

• She found the way to bring young girls into Erzsebet’s presence. She promised the girls a secure income, a roof over their heads, and food of good quality. It could be even possible that she told the parents of the girls that the Countess could find them a good-prosperous husband (keep in mind that these young-innocent girls lived in a patriarchal society where women didn’t have much rights).
• Iloona did everything in her power so that Erzsebet could cannibalize on those poor souls. Iloona participated in the bizarre rituals: she tortured, mutilated, and murdered some of these girls (most of them).
• Iloona disposed of the bodies of many of these girls. Keep in mind that some of the cadavers were so mangled that they were literally unrecognizable. Iloona got them out of the castle (victims died in different castles though mainly in Csejthe) and buried them in nearby places. Most of the time they were not given a proper burial. Sometimes more than two girls were buried in pits “Holocaust-style”.
• When the family members would ask about the wellbeing of the girls Iloona would come up with some lame excuse; she would say for example that they ran away to some distant land with a lover or, she would tell them that their daughters had died of plague.

Prior to her arrival at Csejthe castle Iloona probably never imagined that she would participate in such hideous activities. Iloona was 100% guilty, she was a devil and a beyond-repulsive criminal. Maybe she did not want to hurt these girls at the beginning but everything seems to indicate that she ended up liking Erzsebet’s circus. It doesn’t matter if Iloona was a traumatized woman like Erzsebet, she was 100 % guilty, more than guilty.

DOROTHEA SZENTES

Dorothea was also known as “Dorka” or as “Dorko”. Like Iloona, she was young when she began serving the Countess in the Csejthe castle. Some researchers say that she was muscular like Iloona. Dorka did exactly the same things that Iloona did: she found victims for Erzsebet, brought them to the castle (whichever castle it was), participated in the blood-circus, murdered girls, and got rid of them. Dorka lied to the families just like Iloona and she also “cleaned things up”. Dorka was guilty, beyond guilty; she was a devil like Iloona.

It is said that Dorothea was a black magician and that she encouraged Erzsebet to completely give in to the dark side. Maybe she was just a herbalist, who knows? Either way, she was a sadist like Iloona.

DARVULIA

One of Erzsebet’s strongest influences was an Occultist from Sarvar named Anna Darvulia. Darvulia first name was “Anna”, just like Erzsebet’s mother (Darvulia was old). Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Erzsebet found a mother and a confidant in her. Everything seems to indicate that Erzsebet was kind to her and that she trusted her completely.

Some researchers think that Erzsebet and Darvulia met in Transylvania when Orsolya sent Megyery to pick her up. If this information is accurate that means that Darvulia acted as a chaperone and that she had been a very early influence on Erzsebet. Darvulia certainly understood Erzsebet’s inner feelings, it was as if they knew each other from a past life.

It is said that the old woman of Sarvar was a priestess of black magic and that she taught Erzsebet everything she knew. Anna taught Erzsebet “astral body-renewal”, something that surely unleashed the demon in Erzsebet. Through Darvulia Erzsebet learned that she could strengthen her inner beauty with the blood of young victims. Darvulia taught her that in order for the magic to work these females had to be virgins.

Anna Darvulia, the woman that Erzsebet probably trusted the most in her life, she was as guilty as Iloona and Dorothea. In fact, she was worse than those two because Darvulia was the one who instructed her to bathe in the blood of virgins (at least most researchers believe this). Anna Darvulia was a hideous criminal and a sadist, there are no words to describe her behavior. What kind of human being would advise another human being to slay vulnerable virgin females and to bathe in their blood? Only a cold blooded reptilian could do such thing…

• Darvulia encouraged Erzsebet to commit murder.
• Darvulia encouraged unspeakable/un-human sadism in Erzsebet.
• Darvulia brought prey for Erzsebet.
• Darvulia did everything in her power to make sure the Countess would never get caught.
• Darvulia was an old woman, perhaps she was not able to drag the bodies out of the castle in order to dispose of them.

It is said that Darvulia was almost blind around the time of her death. She must have been at least 60 when she passed away. Some say that she was buried in the Csejthe area, in a forest (like the Druids). Some people suspect that Darvulia committed suicide. If she did she certainly deserved such gruesome death. Darvulia was the only person who stayed 110% loyal to Erzsebet till the end, totally loyal.

FICZKO

Erzsebet’s favorite male servant was a deformed elf known as Ficzko. His real name was Ujvari Johanes. Ficzko began serving the Countess when he was a youth. Some people say that in 1594 he was brought to the Csejthe castle against his will by a certain Martin Cheytey. Some say that he was originally from Roznava and that maybe his family saw him as a burden (since he had a physical blemish). Maybe they even sold him for some coins, who knows? There are people who claim he was an orphan, no one really knows the truth 100 %.

When he was brought to the castle of the Nadasdys, Iloona and Dorothea were already there. The dwarf did more or less the same thing Iloona, Dorothea, and Darvulia did: to participate in beyond-bizarre world of Erzsebet.

Personally, I think Ficzko is worse than the other assistants of the Countess because he was a man (even though Bathory didn’t see him as a man but as a bitch). What kind of man could torture and murder a defenseless woman? What kind of man could torment little girls in the cruelest ways imaginable? It doesn’t matter what traumas he underwent in his miserable life,… nothing, absolutely nothing can exculpate Ficzko.

In my eyes Ficzko was not a man. Ficzko was a weak coward that was probably effeminate. He was an accursed creature of the worst kind. Some say that he had no choice but to do the Countess’s bidding….well, if I would have been in his position, meaning if I would have had to choose between torturing those innocent females and between death; I would have chosen death (100 % sure). It is better to be killed than to torture and murder innocent people, especially young females. In fact, it is better to commit suicide than to participate in the grotesque acts that Ficzko participated in (integrity is more important than breathing). It would have been better for him not to be born at all….

The writer Miranda Twiss has some important insights to share as far as Ficzko goes:

“A servant’s escape was intolerable to Elisabeth and the punishment was nearly always death, although the method of execution varied. When a twelve-year-old girl named Pola somehow managed to escape from the castle, she was brought back, clad only in a long white robe. The countess advanced on the young girl and forced her into a large cylindrical cage, too narrow to sit in, yet too small to stand in. Once the girl was inside, the cage was suddenly hauled up by a pulley and dozen of short spikes jutted into the cage. The girl tried to avoid being caught on the spikes, but Ficzko, Elisabeth’s dwarf, maneuvered the ropes so that the cage shifted from side to side. Pola’s flesh was torn to pieces.”

(The most evil men and women in history, by Miranda Twiss. Barnes and Noble books, pg 111-112)

Ficzko was worse than Joseph Mengele.

THE SECOND DARVULIA

“The burial of the living is a Persian practice, as I heard that Xerxes’ wife Amastris, when she reached old age, caused 14 children of PROMINENT men to be buried alive, presenting them in place of herself as a gift to the deity they call the god of the underworld.”

(Herodotus, the Histories. Book 7.114.2)

After the old witch of Sarvar passed away, Erzsebet found herself in need of a new instructor. She found a younger version of Darvulia, her name was Erzsi. Erzsi Majorova. It is said that this woman came from a place called Miawa and that she met the Countess in Csejthe.

Some researchers believe that Erzsebet was impressed by Erzsi because the witch had a scar on her face. She supposedly got that from a bear when she was just a child. The new Darvulia completely changed the game for the mad Countess (she was younger than Darvulia). Erzsi declared that what the Countess really needed was to bathe in the blood of “NOBLE” virgins (daughters of Zsemans). She also recommended that the girls should not be older than 15. It is said that they started torturing and murdering 12 and 10 year old girls,…the Countess completely lost her mind with the depraved Erzsi.

Some researchers believe that the actual blood-baths did not begin until Erzsebet met Erzsi. The victims were completely drained of their blood, the blood would be collected in buckets, and then finally the Countess would bathe in it.

Personally, I cannot understand how a woman like Erzsi could be so cruel and so merciless. How could a person be so empty and so f*cking derranged? I cannot understand that and I guess I never will. As far as I know, Erzsi was worse than all the guys in the S.S put together.

Erzsebet was not the 1st woman to bathe in human blood. Faustina, wife of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, she bathed in the blood of a gladiator she loved.

KATA

Katherina Beneczky was a washer for the Countess. Some say that the one who brought her to the Csejthe castle was Vargha Balintne, a longtime servant of the Nadasdys. Kata was like a second mother to the son of Vargha (Janos Pirgist).

Kata was not a depraved-malevolent woman like Dorothea, Iloona, Darvulia, or Erzsi. When Kata realized what was happening in the castle she freaked out, she didn’t know what to do. She wanted to run away but she couldn’t, the Countess would have murdered her and her two young daughters. She had no choice but to keep silent and do as she was told.

Kata underwent endless misery washing the blood stains of the poor girls. She had to wash the red stains on the Countess’ dresses, the stains on the floor, and the stains on the walls. I’m sure she ran into pieces of flesh, torn skin, and all kinds of horrors.

Kata was forced to collaborate in a more intimate manner. She had to drag the soulless bodies out of the castle and sometimes she was told to bury them somewhere nearby. Everything seems to indicate that these horrible ordeals exasperated Kata, she lived in a state of panic. Kata must have felt an incredible guilt, the blood stains she was washing reminded her of her two daughters (some say the Countess threatened her personally on one occasion).

It is said that after Bathory was brought to justice Kata left to Wallachia. Kata went insane, she died there.

THE OTHERS

Iloona, Dorothea, Darvulia, Ficzko, and Erzsi were not the only official members of Erzsebet’s cult. There were many people assisting Erzsebet, both men and women. It is believed that after Erzsebet was finally brought to justice, the authorities chose to content themselves with Iloona, Dorothea, and Ficzko,…they didn’t want any more “noise”.

PART IV: THE UNSPEAKABLE CRIMES

“Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: and look! The tears of the oppressed, but they have no comforter – on the side of their oppressors there is power, but they have no comforter.”

(Ecclesiastes 4:1)

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez, detail)

As I have previously mentioned, it is impossible to summarize the atrocities committed by Erzsebet. Her actions are beyond human rationality. Without a doubt I believe that her first crime was to take advantage of all those vulnerable families that she destroyed.

DECEPTION

One of the women who testified against Erzsebet during the 1611 trial was a poor widow named Anna (Anna like Erzsebet’s mother). Her husband, Stefan Gonzy, had died. She was left with her ten year old daughter, she was 100 % vulnerable and pretty much defenseless. The widow trusted Erzsebet with her daughter (wasn’t Erzsebet supposed to be a protector to her people?).

Personally, I don’t think a 10 year old girl should be “working” or much less “serving” under the rule of a tyrannical woman. Yet Anna trusted her Countess with the only treasure she had left in this world: her daughter. As we all know, Erzsebet tortured the poor girl to death and bathed in her blood (in the Csejthe castle). This is very, very serious! Erzsebet was totally evil.
Try to imagine for a second “Anna” finding the strength to speak during the trial. She was broken, crushed, destroyed and with nothing to look forward too except justice. I believe it is impossible to understand what this woman felt at that moment. So sad, so somber,…so bitter!

So yes, the first crime that Erzsebet committed was “DECEPTION”. She lied to all those poor families, she deceived all those girls. She broke their dreams. She murdered them all one way or another.

ERZSEBET THE “PRANA-VAMPYRESS”

Sometime in 1610 Erzsebet was ill. She commanded that all her female servants would undergo an eight day fast, no food and no water whatsoever. Not only that, they had to strip naked plus they were expected to stand for eight consecutive days. Only a maniac could think of such thing…it is said that Dorothea was in charge of this operation.

Think for a second about how crazy that was: all of Bathory’s girls had to stand naked starving to death for eight consecutive days!! Erzsebet was nourishing from their vital energy, from their “prana”. She was not only a blood-sucker, she was a “prana-vampyress” as well (once Erzsebet tied up a girl to a pole and embalmed her with honey so that insects would devour her alive).

FREEZING MOON

“It had stopped snowing and was dreadfully cold, the kind of clod said to spawn wolf stars. The peasants believed that on such cold nights the stars came down from the heavens to mate with wolves. Their offspring terrorized the world on the dark nights of winter.”

(the Blood Countess, by Andrei Codrescu. Siom and Schuster, pg 15)

It is known that sometimes Erzsebet would turn girls into ice statues. Sometimes after having tortured a girl almost to death she would expose her beaten body to the mercy of the elements. The girl would be thrown into the snow in dead-cold winter, two of Erzsebet’s maids would hold her up while someone would pour water on the girl. The poor girl would freeze almost instantly.

Try to imagine for a second what a horrible fate that is,…imagine that you have been tortured for hours, maybe even for days,…and now you were thrown into the snow so that Erzsebet could see you as a “frozen work of art”. It is said that from a window Erzsebet would stare at her sculptures for at least one hour (maybe more?). This is what the creative-protectress of Hungary would do to her beloved ones.

MUTILATION

“You’re nothing, an object of animation, a subjective mannequin…beaten into submission, raping again and again”.

(Slayer. Song “Sex, murder, art” from the 1994 album “Divine Intervention”)

Erzsebet certainly mutilated her victims. Sometimes she would cut off ears, noses, lips, and sexual organs using blades. Try to imagine what that was like for the girls: there they were in shackles watching in terror as their Countess was approaching with all those sharp objects. They couldn’t do anything. Erzsebet would pierce them with knives, she would watch as the blood would flow…imagine the pain these poor girls experienced, try to imagine the kind of pain they felt as Erzsebet was sexually mutilating them….it is said that sometimes she would have their mouths sewn with thread or wire. Can you my dear reader imagine if one of those girls was your daughter?

ERZSEBET AND HANNIBAL LECTER

Sometimes Erzsebet would bite her girls in different parts of their bodies, she would bite them so violently and so hard that she would literally tear off pieces of flesh from their bodies. She was like a mad hyena consumed by a Caligulean lust!!

In some occasions Erzsebet forced her weakened and severely wounded victims to eat pieces of their own bodies. By this I mean for example nipples, a fragmented vagina, a bloody ear, a lip, a ripped piece of skin,…etc.

Try to imagine this beyond grotesque scenario. Imagine one of those poor girls chained in the cold, her body wounded, severely injured,… the wall and the floor soaked in blood. Now on top of that she had to masticate her own flesh, raw pieces of meat…sometimes Erzsebet would force a girl to eat the raw flesh of another girl. Perhaps the flesh of a best friend?
Erzsebet also forced the girls to devour cooked human flesh (some say that she fed human flesh to boys too). If she did this, which she did; this tells me that she also forced them to eat their own feces. There is no question in my mind that Erzsebet committed anthropophagy once in a while. If she bathed in blood and if she drank blood, didn’t she eat their flesh?

ERZSEBET’S GLADIATORS

On June 1992 a Serb named Dusko Tadic did horrible things to his Bosnian neighbors. Tadic abused, tortured, and murdered many of them in the name of Serbian Nationalism. On June 18, 1992 for example, he forced some Muslim detainee to castrate a fellow Muslim with his teeth (in the “Omarska” detention center). Tadic was a beyond-diabolical sadist like Bathory. The difference is that Tadic was a man serving in the Serbian military plus he was torturing “adult males” that he had managed to overcome.

As far as I know Erzsebet was not butchering soldiers of the Sultan; she was not even killing Turkish female captives. Erzsebet was destroying her own people, the people that she as a Countess was supposed to protect. Not only that, she was blasting defenseless little girls.

Sometimes Erzsebet would force two girls to fight to death in a gladiatorial competition. After having abused the hell out of them, she would make them fight each other with their hands tied up behind their backs. The girls were expected to rip each other apart with their teeth.

Try to imagine that ugly scenario,….two girls that were probably soaked in blood and maybe even missing chunks of flesh,…there they were biting each other hoping to find a freedom that would never come. Maybe the girls had been best friends for life but there they were fighting a death match so that their Countess could be happy…

The parents of these poor girls would have never imagined, not even in their wildest dreams; that their beautiful girls were killing each other in front of the Countess that they trusted. Is there anything sadder than this?

THE ACTUAL BLOODBATHS

As we already Erzsebet bathed in the blood of innocent girls, this is a fact. Whether this began with Darvulia or with Erzsi we do not know for sure but, what we certainly know is that the Hungarian Jezebel bathed in the blood of young females. There is no question about that.

It is said that the blood was collected in buckets. Then it would go into a bathtub that would be heated with fire, Erzsebet would then immerse herself into the blood of her victims. How could she immerse her naked body into that fresh-sticky blood? How could she rejoice in that after having committed murder? There is no rational answer to this of course,…but we surely know that she liked those reddish rituals.

Some say that she would bathe in the blood of one victim for approximately one hour, maybe two or three hours. She typically used the blood of one victim two or three times, after that she would dispose of the blood. One life sacrificed for the joy of a mad woman!

(it is crazy that the name “Bathory” contains the word “bath”: BATH-ORY)

It is said that Erzsebet’s last victim was a Croatian girl named Doricza, she was the daughter of a Szeman named Nilaieva. Doricza underwent a very painful and horrible death.

PART V: THE MIRROR BREAKS

“When the darkness eats away the day and the moon bears witness to the graves,…in the shadows we are alive, in the shadows the light.”

(Mercyful Fate, lyrics to the song “Shadows” from the 1993 album “In the shadows”)

Eventually Bathory’s glory began to fade into a penumbra. People started filing complaints and the Holy Roman Emperor found out about it. The archduke Matthias II decided that the whole thing was a scandal and that order needed to be restored. An investigation began.

This was not good for Erzsebet, Matthias II was obviously not an insignificant guy, he was a very powerful politician and an adversary of hers. Matthias II was also a foe of Gabor Bathory, her nephew (or cousin?) in Transylvania. Matthias owed Erzsebet 17,408 gulden and he did not intend to repay that sum (Ferenc had lent that amount to Rudolf II back in the days). Therefore, this was Matthias’ perfect opportunity. He was ready to dispose of Erzsebet, once this would be accomplished he could even confiscate her estates.

They discovered many mangled bodies and gathered all the evidence they needed to destroy the Countess (approximately 50 bodies). They were shocked when they found severely wounded girls in dungeons…when it was more than obvious that Erzsebet was a psychotic tigress they raided the Csejthe castle and arrested her. It is said that this took place on December 30th, 1610.

It must have been a great surprise to Erzsebet to see her former allies and friends not only judging her but condemning her as well. There was Gyorgy Thurzo, her former ally and confidant. There were Miklos Zrinyi and Gyorgy Homonna Drugeth,…her sons in law, traitors in her eyes. Megyery was there as well. It is said that Thurzo condemned her to “perpetuis carceribus”; he supposedly said the following words:

“You are like a wild animal. You are in the last months of your life, you do not deserve to breathe the air on earth, nor see the light of the Lord, you shall disappear from this world and not reappear in it again. The shadows will envelop you and you will find time to repent your bestial life.”

Incredible,..the all-powerful and wealthy Erzsebet now was being called a “wild animal.”

The trial began on January 2nd, 1611, it was a public event. From March to the beginning of July 34 witnesses testified against the Countess, some of them were nobles. They found Erzsebet’s diary, the very pages that contained the details of her atrocities (names of the girls, etc)…Erzsebet was lost and she knew it.

Matthias wanted to kill Erzsebet but Thurzo intervened, he said to Matthias that it would be unwise to have friction with the Bathorys of Transylvania and Poland (Matthias wanted Erzsebet gone not because he cared about the butchered girls but because of his personal-materialistic agenda).

Bathory’s assistants were all punished severely. Iloona, Dorothea, and Ficzko were tortured and killed. The executioners torn off the fingers of Iloona and Dorothea with red-hot irons, then they were burned alive. Ficzko’s hands were blasted with red-hot pincers as well, he was beheaded. Right after that they drained his body of every single drop of blood. His body was carbonized, they erased him from beneath the heavens.

Some sources say that the inhabitants of Csejthe were ordered to relocate and that the place became a ghost town. Erzsebet was imprisoned in one of the towers of the Csejthe castle, they sealed her there…all apertures and windows were sealed with cement. A small space was left open so that she could be given bread and water every 15 days (some say she was fed regularly). They gave her exactly what she feared:

• To be alone in the dark.
• To be confined in a small space.

Erzsebet lasted almost four years in this condition. There she was in the cold, alone, with lice, surrounded by rats, sweat during the summer,…the smell of urine and feces…
Some pastors went there a few times hoping that she would repent but she never did. She was a “Bathory” and she was determined to go down as a true soldier like Tomyris of the Massagetai (Kings II, 9:31 says that Queen Jezebel did not bow or repent). Since her two daughters and her sons in law betrayed her, Erzsebet left everything to her son Paul.

(here we see Jezebel, the pagan queen of Sidon who refused to bow to YHVH. She died as a martyr ‘Bathory style’. Illustration by the French genius Gustav Dore)

On August 21st, 1614 she crossed over to the other side. It is said that she died sitting on a reclining chair covered skins. Death came to her at last…she was free. Free!

The people of Csejthe did not want her buried there. So, she ended up in her native land, in her beautiful Transylvania. Her body was buried in Ecsed.

WHY DO WE REMEMBER BATHORY?

(Erzebet Bathory, ink on paper by Mr Nizin Lopez [detail])

The fact of the matter is that the Lilith of Hungary, regardless of how malevolent she was, is remembered by many. Not only is she remembered, she is venerated and honored by some. Why is it that Bathory is more appreciated than Mother Theresa? Answer: Because all humans have a dark side, a dark side that sometimes they embrace “secretly”. Why is it that she is venerated through books, films, and music? Why is it that Black-Metal bands like Cradle of Filth honor the “woman of dark desires” with albums like “cruelty and the beast”? Answer: because as I mentioned before, we humans have a dark side and we are scared to admit to it (it is politically incorrect). Humans, whether they admit it or not, honor “blood-spillers” like Xerxes, Alexander the great, Titus Vespasianus, Vlad Tepes, and many others. Most will not admit to this but this is the truth.

BEFORE YOU READ THIS:

This is an article that describes interesting aspects of the ancient Celtic world, at least aspects that I “personally” consider interesting. I believe that there were some strange similarities between the Druids and between ancient Israel. Keep in mind that I’m not one of those folks who is trying to “Christianize” the rich and glorious heritage of the Celts, I’m just making a comparison that makes sense to me. I also believe that if we really analyze the Biblical Jesus we find certain qualities that are connected with ancient European paganism (check out the book “The mysteries of Mithras” [the pagan belief that shaped the Christian world], by Payam Nabarz).

Like I said, this is just an article offering a different perspective.

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

ANCIENT ISRAEL, STONES, AND THE CELTS.

Anyone who has studied the Celtic world knows that stones were a very important element of their practices. All one has to do is look at the unique ancient monument called Stonehenge (S. England) that in turn resembles the Gilgal Rephaim of ancient Canaan.

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

If we look in the Bible we see that ancient Israel seemed to have some type of “unusual connection” with stone worship. Jeremiah 2:26-27 implies that Biblical Israel worshipped trees and stones just like the Druids:

“As the thief is ashamed when is found out, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they and their kings, and their princes, and their priests and their prophets, saying to a tree, ’you are my father’, and to a stone, ’you gave birth to me’.”

Based on this passage some Israelite tribe must have worshipped the duality of nature through trees and stones. This is ‘reinstated’ in Jeremiah 3:9:

“So it came to pass, through her casual harlotry, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.”

This stone veneration goes all the way back to Jacob. When he was running away from his brother Esav (Esav or “Esau” sounds very similar to the Celtic deity named “Esus”) he arrived at a mystical place that he recognized as the gate of heaven. It almost sounds as if Jacob somehow landed on a Stonehenge kind of place! Genesis 28:11 says that he took one of the stones, put it at his head, and laid down in that place to sleep. After Jacob had his “prophetic dream” he took the stone and turned it into a pillar. Genesis 28:18 says that he poured oil on it and Genesis 28:22 states that he defined the stone as “God’s house” (on Maccabees II Chapter 1:31 we see Jews consecrating large stones). Some scholars believe that the tale of Jacob in Bethel is connected with the Dream Stele of Pharaoh Thutmoses IV (the dream stele was a ‘large stone’ right in front of the Sphinx).

This is not the only event in which Jacob has a magical connection with stones. When he made a covenant with Laban the following happened:

“So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar. Then Jacob said to his brethren, ‘gather stones’. And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there on the heap. Laban called the place Jegar Sahadutha, but Jacob called it Galeed,…”

(Genesis 31:45-47)

It is extremely interesting that “Galeed” (just like the word “Galilee”) sounds almost like “Gaelic”, the ancient tongue of the Celts. These passages of Genesis do not prove that ancient Israel had a connection with the Celts who once lived in Galata/Turkey but, it appears like there is “some type” of remote connection.

When Joshua Ben Nun was conquering Canaan very weird things associated with stones took place. Joshua 10:11 says for example that “the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them (on the Caananites) as far as Azekah…”

Stones falling from the sky? Strange! I believe these would be the kind of stones that would have been venerated even with human sacrifices. In fact, Judges 9:5 says that a folk named Abimelech (Abimelech means “father and king”) killed 70 of his brothers on a stone at Ophrah. I’m not saying that this particular stone had something to do with the strange “heavenly rocks” of the times of Joshua. I’m just saying that there is a resemblance between ancient Israel and the Celtic world.

The stuff that is described in Joshua 4:9 sounds like the kind of thing that the Druids would do to honor Teutates (a water deity). After the waters of the Jordan split allowing the Israelites to pass they erected twelve memorial stones:

“Then Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood; and they are there to this day.”

(Joshua 4:9)

Oh but there is more to Joshua:

“Then Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God. And he took a large stone, and set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the Lord.”

(Joshua 24:26)

Joshua 24:27 continues saying that the stone “had heard all the words of the Lord which he spoke.” Joshua definitely sounds like a mystic Druid in this passage! Does he not? In fact, when one reads the book of Joshua one feels as if the Biblical Israelites were conquering the British isles instead of Palestine.

As far as the New testament goes, there we also find elements of a “potential” Celtic scent. On Mathew 3:9 for example Jesus tells the Pharisees that God is able to raise sons to Abraham from stones. On Matthew 7:9 we see this type of symbolism again (stones are mentioned in connection to bread). On John 1:42 Jesus renames Peter “Cephas” which means stone and on Matthew 21:44 Jesus compares himself to a stone. On Peter I 2:7 Jesus is called “the chief corner stone”, the stone which the builders rejected. All these “stone allegories” do not prove a connection with the Celtic world yet as I have previously mentioned, this “COULD” have a Celtic aroma.

SACRAL KINGSHIP AND TREES

The Celtic world also shares similarities with Biblical Israel in terms of sacral kingship. The “tree symbolism” definitely played an important role in the coronation of Celtic kings:

“In the pagan mythic texts of early historic Ireland, notably in the Dinnschenchas (the ‘History of places’), holy trees were particularly associated with sacral kingship, and the inauguration rites surrounding the election of a new king. Trees were venerated partly on account of their longevity, which symbolized wisdom, stability, and sovereignty.”

(the world of the Druids. By Miranda J. Green. VII, sacred places and their priests. pg 109. Thames and Hudson)

When Saul became the 1st king of Israel somehow there was a “terebinth tree” in the scene. Samuel I 10:3 describes his coronation process:

“Then you shall go on forward from there and come TO THE TEREBINTH TREE OF TABOR. There three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you, one carrying three young goats, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.”

Isn’t it a little bit strange that the man destined to be the first king of Israel had to be around a “terebinth tree” for ceremonial purposes? Was that just a coincidence?

Incredibly enough we see that based on the information provided by the book of Judges, Abimelech also became king by a terebinth tree! Judges 9:6 says that the men of Shechem had gathered at Beth Millo to make Abimelech king BY THE TEREBINTH TREE, at the pillar that was in Shechem. Is this another coincidence?

From Judges 9:8 until Judges 9:15 a man named Jotham makes a weird speech in which he symbolically connects trees with kingship. Let us not forget that the Jesus of Druidic flavor (defined as king of the Jews) was nailed to a “wooden cross” (something that emanates from a tree) plus his crown was a crown of thorns (something that emanates from a tree as well).

The majestic book “Dictionary of Celtic myth and legend” by Miranda J. Green zooms into the “tree worship” subject:

“There is a consistent thread of evidence for the sanctity of oak trees. Pliny (Natural History XVI,95) makes mention of a festival on the sixth day of the moon, when the Druids climbed a sacred oak, cut down a branch of mistletoe and sacrificed two white bulls, in a fertility rite. Indeed, the word ‘Druid’ is sometimes perceived as deriving from the ‘Dru’ root meaning ‘Oak’. Strabo (XII,5,1) speaks of the meeting of the three Galatian tribes (groups of Celts living in Asia Minor) at ‘Drunemeton’, the ‘oak sanctuary’, for the purposes of discussion on government matters. Maximus of Tyre, writing in the 2nd c. A.D, comments that the Celts worshipped Zeus in the images of high oak trees (Logoi VIII,8). Oaks were the classical dendromorphic attributes of the sky-god Jupiter, perhaps because of their size, majestic appearance and longevity. The Celtic Jupiter related this association with oaks: at Seguret in Provence, a depiction of the Celtic sun-god (equated with Jupiter) was accompanied by an oak tree.”

(Dictionary of Celtic myth and legend. By Miranda J. Green. pg 164. Thames and Hudson)

Here are some more Biblical examples that connect ancient Israel with tree worship of Celtic flavor:

• “Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when their SLAIN are among their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountain tops, UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE, AND UNDER EVERY THICK OAK, wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols.” (Ezekiel 6:13)

Psalms 106:37-38 explains Israel’s rituals in detail:

• “They even sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.”

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez, detail)

In “the Annals of History” (book XIV,30) Tacitus describes the bloody rituals that the Druids conducted in their sacred forests. Are the murderous sacrifices mentioned in Psalms 106 not similar to the ones done by the Celts? Keep in mind that Ezekiel clearly mentions “GREEN TREES” & “THICK OAKS”.

Here’s more:

• The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king: ”Have you seen the backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE, and there she played the harlot.” (Jeremiah 3:6 [Jeremiah 2:27 & Jeremiah 3:9 says that Israel is a tree worshipper])

• “They offer sacrifices on the mountain tops, and burn incense on the hills, UNDER OAKS, poplars, AND TEREBINTHS, because their shade is good. Therefore your daughters commit harlotry, and your brides commit adultery.” (Hosea 4:13)

Is it an accident that throughout the Bible we see Israel honoring spiritual forces through green trees and thick oaks? The “tree issue” goes back all the way to Abraham (believe it or not). Here are some Biblical passages that prove this:

• “Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the TEREBINTH TREE OF MOREH. And the Caananites were then in the land.” (Genesis 12:6)

• Then Abram moved his tent, and went and dwelt BY THE TEREBINTH TREES OF MAMRE, which are in Hebron, and built an altar to the Lord.” (Genesis 13:8)

• Genesis 18:1 says that the Lord appeared to Abraham BY THE TEREBINTH TREES OF MAMRE. There he was visited by three angels.

• Genesis 21:33 says that Abraham planted a TAMARISK TREE in Beersheva, the place where he made a covenant with Abimelech the Phillishti.

• When Abraham was about to kill Isaac, a substitute sacrifice appeared caught IN A THICKET. It was a ram that got caught in a thicket by the horns. This might remind us of the “Absalom incident” in Samuel II 18:9 (his long hair got caught in a tree so he ended up suspended in the air. He was impaled and died).

So, one could almost say that Isaac was saved thanks to the branches of a tree! Jacob also followed the “tree tradition”:

• “so they gave Jacob all the foreign gods which were in their hands, and all the earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the TEREBINTH TREE which was by Shechem.” (Genesis 35:4)

Judges 6:11 says that a divine being appeared to Gideon during the times of Midian’s ascent. Incredibly enough this angel manifested itself by a tree:

• “Now the angel of the Lord came and sat under THE TEREBINTH TREE which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite,…” (Kings I 13:14 speaks about a man of God sitting under an oak)

Judges 4:11 mentions a Kenite named Heber in connection with a terebinth tree in Zanaaim and Samuel I 22:6 mentions king Saul in connection with a tamarisk tree. Is it by mere chance that the bones of the first king of Israel ended up under a tamarisk tree in Jabesh? Samuel I 31:13 testifies to this!

The custom of burying people under sacred trees had been latent in Israel for a while:

“Now Deborah, Rebeka’s nurse, died, and she was buried bellow Bethel under the TEREBINTH TREE. So the name of it was called Allon Bachuth.” (Genesis 35:8)

So, is it possible that some of the tribes of Israel had a connection with the Celts? Obviously the answer is yes.

ANCIENT ISRAEL AND WATER

It is a known fact that the Celts venerated water. They offered for example sacred metallic objects and sometimes they even offered human sacrifices in order to appease the forces that lurked in this element of nature.

As far as ancient Israel goes, it is obvious that some tribes venerated sacred trees and sacred stones just like the Druids. One would think that the monotheistic nation of YHVH would have nothing to do with guys like the Celts but the fact of the matter is that some of the tribes of Israel had a Celtic flavor. The New Testament speaks about some type of “magical pool” that was sacred because some type of divine being lurked there:

“Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For AN ANGEL went down at a certain time into the pool & stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.”
(John 5:2-4)

Doesn’t this remind us of the Druids who sacrificed to the sacred spirit that lurked in their rivers?

celt

(a sacrifice by drowning to the Celtic deity “Teutates”. Plate on the Gundestrup cauldron)

Let us not forget that when Israel left Egypt YHVH dried the sea of reeds for them (a water miracle) and let us not forget either that their God also dried up the waters of the Jordan when Joshua was conquering Canaan (another miracle by water).

CANAAN AND TREES

“You shall not plant for yourself any tree, as a wooden image, near the altar which you build for yourself to the Lord your God.”

(Deuterenomy 16:21)

The book of Mark speaks about how the mystic known as Jesus healed a blind man from Bethsaida through shamanic techniques. On Mark 8:24 the man initially said the following:

“I see men like trees, walking.”

Giant

(here we have Boagrius, Celtic warrior at the service of Thessaly [a man like a tree]. Scene from the film “Troy” directed by Wolgang Petersen [2004]. )

Jesus placed his hands on his eyes again and the man was healed. What exactly did this man from Bethsaida see? Did he have temporary access to a different reality? Was it an inter-dimensional overlap? Who were those walking men that look like trees?

These strange men might remind us of the Amorite mentioned in the book of Amos. Amos 2:9 describes the Amorite as “tall like cedars & mighty like oaks” (in “The Gallic Wars” Book IV.1 the Germanic Suebi are described as “STRONG & TALL” like “GIANTS”). Genesis 14:13 mentions this Caananite group in connection with the famous terebinth trees that were venerated by Israel (Deuterenomy 11:30 also associates Caananites with these trees).

It is weird that we hear about a “Lord of the rings” kind of story coming from a Canaan which is supposed to be Semitic. Those “walking men that resemble trees” definitely possess a Druid aroma and the tall Amorite that are mighty like oaks “could be” (maybe, just maybe) a symbol for tall Nordics.

Most people believe that the ancient Caananites were brown Arabs but maybe that was not the case. I personally believe that most of those tribes were Europeans, mostly Greeks (Maccabees I, Chapter 11:20-23 says that the Spartans possessed an Israelite spark).

JESUS THE SHAMAN

Jesus was also a Shamanic healer. I understand that most Christians consider Shamanism “blasphemous” but the fact is that the Biblical Jesus was a healer whether people like this or not. Obviously the Druids practiced their own version of Shamanism as well.

CERNUNOS0001

Keep in mind, I’m not saying that Shamanism automatically turns Jesus into a Druid, I’m just saying that Jesus’ “magical” healing attributes should not be ignored.

Jesus face

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez)

Here are some of his miraculous performances based on the Bible:

• “Then his fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, all those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.” (Matthew 4:24)

• Jesus healed the 12 year old daughter of a prominent man named Jairus. Luke 8:54 says that Jesus took her “BY THE HAND” and her spirit returned.

• Matthew 8:2-3 says the following: “And behold, a leper came and worshipped him saying, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean’. The Jesus “PUT OUT HIS HAND AND TOUCHED HIM”, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.” He was cleansed immediately.

• John 9 speaks about how Jesus healed a man who was blind from birth. John 9:6-7 states that “HE SPAT ON THE GROUND” and made clay “WITH THE SALIVA”. He anointed the man’s eyes “WITH THE CLAY” and then he told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam. The man was healed (check out “The Histories”, Book IV.81 [Tacitus]).

• Matthew 9 speaks about how Jesus healed two blind men. Matthew 9:29-30 says that “then ‘HE TOUCHED’ their eyes, saying ‘according to your faith let it be to you’. And their eyes were opened.

• Luke 8 speaks about how a woman who had been seriously ill for 12 years was healed just by touching Jesus’ garment. Luke 8:46 says that he “perceived” power coming out of him as she “TOUCHED” his outer garment. He blessed her and she was of course healed. Matthew 14:36 says that many who were sick were healed just by touching his garment.

• Matthew 20:34 says that Jesus healed some blind men by “TOUCHING THEIR EYES”.

• Matthew 8 speaks about how Jesus healed the mother of Peter’s wife. She was lying sick with a fever, “HE TOUCHED HER HAND” and the fever left her. Then she arose and served them (Matthew 8:14-15).

The examples are endless. He healed paralytics, epileptics, demon-possessed, infirmities,..etc. Was this not the kind of stuff that a Shaman would do? This is probably why the Talmudic elite of the time would call him “demon possessed”. The healing Jesus of Druid flavor definitely resembles an Edgar Cayce.

JESUS AND ANAHITA

It is known that in the Celtic world sometimes women were allowed to lead men into battle. Boudicea, queen of the Iceni tribe, she is the example per excellence. She fought valiantly against Rome and she died as a martyr. She even rings a bell when it comes to the Deborah mentioned in the book of Judges (Deborah was a militaristic prophetess & a judge of the Israelite nation).

The_third_one

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez)

This is relevant when it comes to the case of Jesus because if we do our research, we will see throughout the Bible that the alleged son of Mary was always kind to women. This reminded me of how much the Celts respected their women. The Roman historian Cornelius Tacitus tells us about the British Kahina:

“Boudicea, with her daughters before her in a chariot, went up to tribe after tribe, protesting that it was indeed usual for Britons to fight under the leader ship of women. “But now,” she said, “it is not as a woman descended from noble ancestry, but as one of the people that I am avenging lost freedom, my scourged body, the outraged chastity of my daughters. Roman lust has gone so far that not our very persons, not even age or virginity, are left unpolluted. But heaven is on the side of a righteous vengeance; a legion which dared to fight has perished; the rest are hiding themselves in their camp, or are thinking anxiously of flight. They will not sustain even the din and the shout of so many thousands, much less our charge and our blows. If you weigh well the strength of the armies, and the causes of the war, you will see that in this battle you must conquer or die”.

(The Annals of history. P.Cornelius Tacitus. Book XIV,35)

Boudica

(Celtic woman possessed by the spirit of the warrior Queen Boudicca, scene from the film ‘Centurion’. Centurion is a movie from 2010 directed by Neil Marshall)

Keep in mind also that the Jesus who was worshipped by the Persian Magi was the son of a woman who came from a priestly lineage. Luke 1:5 says that Elisabeth, mother of the Essenian John, came from Kohanim. Luke 1:36 says that Mary was related to Elisabeth so Mary had to have Kohen genes. This is important because it is a subliminal symbol of female empowerment. After all, women functioned as priestesess in Celtic culture. On book XIV,30 (the Annals of history) Tacitus tells us that Celtic women made Roman knees tremble in fear!

Now let us go ahead and see Biblical passages where where Jesus depicts a magical appreciation for women:

• Mark 7:29 says that Jesus healed the daughter of a Greek woman who was a Syro-Phoenician by birth.

• On Luke 4:26 Jesus speaks in favor of the Sidonian widow of Zarephath who lived in the times of Elijah.

• On Mark 12:43-44 Jesus defends a poor widow who had given all that she had (two mites) to the temple treasury. She had given her whole livehood while the wealthy who donated large amounts of money gave out of their abundance (a small portion).

• Luke 8:2 speaks about women who had provided Jesus with their substance, these were women whom Jesus had healed from infirmities and from unclean spirits. This passage mentions Mary Magdalene, Joanna the wife of Chuzza, Sussana, and many others.

• Mark 14:3 says that in Bethany a woman poured a very costly oil on Jesus’ head (a value of 300 denarii). On Mark 14:8-9 Jesus defends her from her critics.

• Luke 7:38 says that this same woman washed his feet with her tears and that she dried them with her hair. She kissed his feet and anointed them with fragant oil. On Luke 7:50 Jesus defends her from critics.

• Luke 13:13 speaks about how Jesus healed a woman who had suffered from a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. She was bent over and could not raise herself up but he healed her.

• On John 4:19 a Samaritan woman who was apparently a prostitute called Jesus a prophet.

• On Matthew 27:19 Pilate’s wife defends Jesus from his Jewish accusers and calls him “a just man”.

• On Luke 2:38 Anna, a prophetess who descended from the tribe of Asher, she speaks good of Jesus (some scholars identify “Asher” with modern Switzerland).

• Matthew 27:55-56 speaks about how women like Mary Magdalene showed Jesus moral support in his final moments.

• John 8:7 says that Jesus saved the life of an adulterous woman who was about to be stoned to death by the Talmudic Rabbis.

JESUS SAVES WOMAN0001

(Jesus saves the life of an adulterous woman that was about to be stoned by religious fanatics. Illustration by the French genius Gustav Dore)

The examples are endless. It is obvious that the Shaman of Galilee known as Jesus saw women not as objects of reproduction, but as beings capable of political leadership (in Secular Britain the Queen is the head of state & the head of the Anglican church). He risked his life several times in order to defend women who were not even Israelites. Jesus definitely sounds like the kind of guy who would have appreciated Veleda of the Bructeri (check “The Histories”, Book IV.61 [Tacitus]).

JESUS AND ESUS

“If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed by God.”

(Deuterenomy 21:22-23)

Conan tree

(scene from the film ‘Conan the barbarian’, a film from 1982 directed by John Milius)

So far we have seen that there were some Celtic traditions latent in ancient Israel and we have also seen Jesus had some Celtic flavor as well. There is one thing about Jesus that definitely connects him to Celtic culture and that is the Celtic god “Esus”. It is “UNDENIABLE”, meaning absolutely “undeniable” that Jesus has a direct connection with the Esus that drank human blood. Here are the parallels between them:

• Isn’t the name “JESUS” similar to the name “ESUS”?

• Jesus was crucified on a “WOODEN CROSS” (something that emanates from a tree) & the victims sacrificed to Esus were supposed to bleed to death while hanging on a tree (Peter I 2:24 says that Jesus died “on a tree”).

• Jesus was impaled by a spear when he was crucified, the victims sacrificed to Esus were either impaled with a spear or arrows were shot at them as they hanged.

“The sacrifice to Esus is not clearly defined, but it may be the remnant of a myth similar to that of the Germanic Odin who hung on the world tree for nine days and nine nights and whose victims were likewise left hanging on trees.”

(Celtic mythology. Proinsias McCana. Hamlyn. Pg 29)

In the book “the world of the Druids” Miranda J. Green says the following :

“Taranis, the thunder-god, was appeased by fire; the victims of Esus (the ‘Lord’) were stabbed and hanged from a tree until they bled to death; and those assigned to Teutates were drowned.”

(the world of the Druids, by Miranda J. Green. V, sacrifice and prophecy. Pg 78. Thames and Hudson)

Basically, “Esus” is not a name so to speak, it literally means “the Lord” or “good master”. Incredibly enough, Luke 18:19 says the following:

“Now a certain ruler asked Him (meaning Jesus), saying, GOOD TEACHER, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

It is a weird coincidence that Esus means something like “GOOD MASTER” and that Jesus is called “GOOD TEACHER”. The reader might think this is an absurd-fanatical observation of mine but I find this to be a very weird coincidence. Let’s rewind the tape one more time:

• The name “JESUS” is almost identical to the name “ESUS”.

• Jesus bleeds to death on a “WOODEN CROSS” (something that comes from a tree plus the “crown of thorns” also came from a tree) and Esus’ victims would bleed to death on trees.

• Jesus was impaled by a spear and Esus’ victims were impaled as well (Numbers 24:8 says that Israel shall pierce her enemies with “arrows”).

• Esus means “GOOD MASTER” and in Luke 18:19 Jesus is called “GOOD TEACHER”.

Is this all by chance? We have already seen that ancient Israel had practices that had a Celtic flavor but now we see that Jesus, the shaman of Druid flavor who believed in reincarnation, he is clearly connected to the Celtic god “Esus” (some people say that Jesus was the son of a Roman soldier of Sidon named “Panthera”, this individual is supposedly buried in Germany).

If one carefully examines the death of Absalom, son of David, we shall see that his death was “like” a sacrifice to the Celtic Esus. He was impaled and his blood was spilled in the forest:

“Absalom rode a mule. The mule went under the thick boughts of a great TEREBINTH TREE, and his head caught in the terebinth; so he was left HANGING between heaven and earth. And the mule which was under him went on.”

(Samuel II 18:9)

Samuel II 18:14 says that Joab took three spears and thrust them through his heart while he was still alive. he was impaled by “SPEARS” and he bled to death while “HANGING FROM A TEREBINTH TREE”. Doesn’t Absalom’s death have a Druid scent? Absalom even had long hair like the Druids!

The historian Luncan mentions the blood-thirsty Esus in Pharsalia I, 444-6. He described him as appeased by the blood of human victims that suspend from trees, victims that are ritually wounded. Is this not what happened to Absalom? Perhaps Joab had no idea of who Esus was but the story described in Samuel II certainly rings a bell when it comes to Celtic customs.

savages

doomsday

(here we have a wild Boudicca 100% Celt, scene from the movie Doomsday)

Note: from an archaeological perspective Esus is found in a stone that forms part of a pillar dedicated to Jupiter by sailors of Paris. This piece which is said to be from the times of Tiberius was discovered in Notre Dame in 1771. The stone depitcs the name “ESUS” and a woodman chopping a branch of a tree.

CONCLUSION

“Some historians have advanced the theory that the Phoenicians founded a kingdom in Southern England, and that they built a settlement on the site of London long before the Romans.”

(Peoples, seas and ships. By Zvi Herman. G.P. Putnam’s sons, New York. Pg 133)

Some of the tribes of Israel had something to do with the Celts at some point. Isn’t the name “Dan” similar to the name “Tuatha of Danaan” in ancient Eire? After all, there were Celts in Galata/Turkey so it wouldn’t be a big deal if there were Celts in Palestine in ancient times. Keep also in mind that the Carthaginians that originated from Lebanon (Lebanon is on top of Israel) made it to the British isles at some point. It could be possible that they introduced their “human sacrifice” traditions to the inhabitants there.

p0001

(the ancestors of the Britons, were they not famous for being Pirates? The Pirates, were they not seafarers like the Phoenicians?)

The Celtic spark is mainly concentrated in the following areas:

• The British isles (keep in mind that America & Canada emanate from the British).
• Gaul (France).
• Celti-Iberia (Spain).

Most people don’t know that in 1908 Winston Churchill, the guy who fought Hitler, he was initiated in the Albion Lodge of the ancient order of the Druids. Is it by chance that such a significant politician connects himself with ancient Celtic tradition?

Churchill0001

(the honorable Winston Churchill)

In the book “Churchill and the Jews” Martin Gilbert speaks about Churchill’s perception of the Jewish people:

In his article in the Illustrated Sunday Helrald in 1920 describing ‘the struggle for the soul of the Jewish people between Bolshevism and Zionism,’ He wrote: ‘Some people like the Jews and some do not, but no thoughtful man can doubt the fact that they are beyond all question the most formidable and the most remarkable race which has ever appeared in the world.’

(Churchill and the Jews [a lifelong friendship], by Martin Gilbert. pg 307-308. Henry Holt and Company. New York)

It sounds like the Churchill of Druidic aroma has a very strong connection with Ashkenazi Jewry! The expansionist British empire took Palestine from the Turks and gave it to the Ashkenazi Jews. In an abstract-spiritual way the Jews paid with the sacrifice of 6 million (a collective “human sacrifice”) & on May 14th 1948 they had their State (the festival of Beltane is in May). Who supports Israel today? Answer:

• The United States of America (an offshoot of the British [a Celtic elite symbolically speaking]).
• England (Celts symbolically speaking).
• France (Celts symbolically speaking).

“Some tribes have colossal images made of wickerwork, the limbs of which they fill with living men; they are then set on fire, and the victims burnt to death. They think that the gods prefer the execution of men taken in the act of theft or brigandage, or guilty of some offence; but when they run short of criminals, they do not hesitate to make up with innocent men.”

(Caesar, the Gallic Wars. Book VI.16 [customs and institutions of the Gauls])

WICKER MAN0001

(Nineteenth Century engraving of the ‘Wicker Man” filled with human sacrifices. Notice a Druid in the bottom right overseeing the entire operation)

Back in the days the Romans sacrificed humans in order to defeat Carthage & in 2001 the U.S Government sacrificed 3000 in order to take over Iraq.

Obviously the British of Celtic spark are not Jews or Israelites but there must be a logical reason why they support Ashkenazi Jewry. Remember: these are just observations of mine (you don’t have to agree with me).

(Mr jamal Ahmad Khashoggi)

On October 02, 2018 a journalist from Saudi Arabia named Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi was killed in Istanbul/Turkey. The Saudis considered him a dissident so he was murdered in the Saudi Arabian consulate, he was tortured and dismembered. Why would the Saudis butcher one of their own in the first month of the Islamic calendar? People all over the world were outraged by this barbarity, America threatened to punish the Saudis with some sanctions.

What people don’t know is that this was never really about the Saudis but about Turkey, about Constantinople really. Mr Jamal Khashoggi a native of Medina (the 2nd holiest city in Islam after Mecca), he was born on October 13, 1958 and he died on October 02, 2018 (his grandfather was Turkish). The city of Medina is sacred to the Arab-Muslim world since the prophet Mohammed is buried there and Istanbul used to be the capital of the Byzantine empire. The modern orthodox church is an emanation of Constantinople.

So, the Turkish government knows that sooner or later the Julius Caesar of orthodox Russia, Mr Vladimir Putin, will try to conquer Istanbul in the name of Christendom. Mr Erdogan knows that the Russian bear would love to rename it “Constantinople”. So, the Turkish government decided to offer a human sacrifice so that Istanbul would remain Islamic no matter what. They chose a trouble maker of Turkish origin who was born in the month of October (October 13, 1958). Putin, wasn’t he born on October 7, 1952? The patriarch of the Russian orthodox church, Kiril, didn’t he cut diplomatic relations with the patriarchate of Constantinople on mid October 2018? On October 13, 2018 pastor Andrew Brunson prayed for president Trump in the White House, he had been detained by the Turkish authorities on October 2016. Coincidences? There are no coincidences when it comes to geo-politics.

Basically, Saudi Arabia and Turkey joined forces. Both of them are pro-Isis Sunnis….the Saudis are very happy to see millions of Muslim fanatics traveling their holy cities every year bringing revenue and the Turks who deny the Armenian genocide…they want Istanbul to remain 100 % Islamic, free of the Russian apocalyptic threat. So they tortured and beheaded a critic of the Saudi royal family on October 2, 2018….in the eyes of the world this is about censorship in the land of Mohammed Bin Salman…wrong! This was never about freedom of speech in the Wahhabi petro-state, it was an elevation offering dedicated by those who fear the Russian apocalyptic threat.

The Saudis, didn’t they grant citizenship to an AI robot named Sophia on October 25, 2017? The sons of Mehmet II want the former Greek orthodox Christian patriarchal cathedral Hagia Sophia to remain an Ottoman imperial mosque, they want Istanbul 100 % Islamic! Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi died so that Constantinople would not be returned to the Christians.

Sometime in 1995 I had the pleasure of seeing Decicide performing live in Fort Lauderdale. I had done a certain painting, an acrylic on canvas that I took to the show. I felt like I needed to show it to them, it was as if something was guiding me. I went to the show with the guys from Hibernus Mortis & I met every single member of Deicide. I showed Glen the painting & he really liked it.

Deicide.

(acrylic on canvas by Mr Nizin Lopez)

The concert kicked ass of course. A few months later I got a call from Glen, he told me that they wanted to use the painting for the new album cover. I was extremelly happy. I had already done the “Angel of disease” t-shirt for Morbid Angel so technically this would be my second “Death-Metal accomplishment” (in reality this album cover was my first real accomplishment in the Death Metal scene).

glen.

(Nizin meets Glen in Fort Lauderdale during the “Once upon the cross” tour)

This other painting right here was also used in the album as well:

deicide

(acrylic on canvas done by Nizin Lopez in Hialeah/Miami Fla)

There is a funny story behind this one. This work of art was done somewhere in Miami Lakes/Fla. If I am not mistaken I originally made it for a band from Fort Lauderdale called Acrimonium. A friend of mine named “Danny Fuentes” introduced me to them back then when he used to do the underground zine called “The Horror Show”. I met the guys from Acrimonium but somehow they ended up not using the painting.

I don’t remember when this happened but one time I was walking in West 12 ave (in Hialeah) carrying the painting & somebody threw me an egg. Since the painting was facing the street the egg landed on the surface of the canvas. When I got home I tried to clean it up but I noticed that the egg had left a shiny mark all over the painting (especially in the part of the skull). So, I had to “re-do” most of it because of some ignorant clown. Either way, this did not stop me. I worked on it and as you know, it ended up with Deicide!

This Deicide album ended up being called “Serpents of the light”. What most people don’t know is that “Serpents of the light” was the title I gave my painting. Glen liked that title so the album ended up being called “Serpents of the light”. I was more than ok with it. I also did the painting that appears on the album ‘”When Satan lives”. The magazine Metal Maniacs called the Serpents album cover the 3rd best album cover of the year.

The second time I saw Deicide was on a Halloween, they played with Acheron in the Button South (Fort Lauderdale). I saw them again in Tampa, I can’t remember what year it was. I am eternally grateful to Mr Glen Benton for giving me an opportunity.

Mr Nizin Lopez has also done album covers for the following bands:
